Bugera announces T50 Infinium at NAMM 2015

0

New for NAMM 2015 is the new Bugera T50 Infinium 50-Watt cage-style 2-channel valve amplifier head with Infinium Tube Life Multiplier, multi-Class A/AB operation and reverb.

Bugera’s  Infinium Tube Life Multiplier Technology extends the usable lifespan of your amplifier’s power valves by up to 20 times, by automatically and continuously monitoring the performance of each output valve and dynamically driving it towards the target operating point for an evenly distributed load. Infinium also compensates for the effects of aging, automatically adjusting current levels to keep your valves sounding as good as new – even when AC line voltages drop below nominal levels – and takes all the guesswork out of valve replacement by illuminating an LED next to a valve that is reaching the end of its usable lifespan. Thanks to Infinium’s Auto-Bias design, you simply replace the indicated valve.

About MNJ

Marc Noel-Johnson has written 962 post in this blog.

MNJ has been writing articles, reviews and blogs for the DV online magazine for the last five years or so. Although he has been playing for longer than he cares to remember and is now officially an 'oldie', he is still mad for all things guitar related and when not busy in his studio he's learning new songs, practising bluegrass guitar, painting his house and taking his dogs out. If banished to a desert island and forced to take only one guitar he'd take a Les Paul. Actually, make that several Les Pauls, a Strat, a Tele, an ES-335, a vintage Martin and some boutique amps. Battery powered obviously.
