Fender has announced a refreshing new concept with its new Post Modern Collection, drawing on its vast history of guitar manufacturing to combine all the ‘best bits’ to build into the new models in the collection; a Strat, a Tele and a Precision Bass. No particular era is favoured over another- it’s whatever is deemed a superior design feature or part. Unique appointments include a 4-bolt contoured neck heel, compound radius fingerboard and enhanced electronics on the guitars, round-laminated fingerboards, extreme body contours on the Strat and Bass, Custom Shop RSD bridges on the Tele and Bass, staggered tuners on the Strat and hand-wound pickups. All models are available in NOS (New Old Stock) or Journeyman Relic finishes.
