Ashdown announces new Retroglide 800 UK-built bass head at NAMM 2015

Hand-built in the UK and new for NAMM 2015 is the new Retroglide 800 bass head from the Ashdown Custom Shop, taking things back to the 80s in style and features.

The Retroglide-800 features Hi and Low impedance instrument inputs, a 12-band graphic EQ @ 30hz to 15Khz + or – 15dB, post EQ balanced DI output, mute switch with LED indicator, output protect LED indicator, line input, effects loop and speaker output Neutrik combination jack/speakon connector. To protect all the knobs and sliders during transportation, the Retroglide is housed in a mild steel casing with a lid, and in keeping with its Custom Shop origins, the front panel is hand machined from 6mm alloy.

About Author

MNJ has been writing articles, reviews and blogs for the DV online magazine for the last five years or so. Although he has been playing for longer than he cares to remember and is now officially an 'oldie', he is still mad for all things guitar related and when not busy in his studio he's learning new songs, practising bluegrass guitar, painting his house and taking his dogs out. If banished to a desert island and forced to take only one guitar he'd take a Les Paul. Actually, make that several Les Pauls, a Strat, a Tele, an ES-335, a vintage Martin and some boutique amps. Battery powered obviously.
