Gibson Memphis announces ES-390 with Nickel P-90s at NAMM 2015


Gibson has launched a completely new model at NAMM 2015. The ES-390 is a compact version of the often underrated ES-330 and like its larger cousin features a fully hollow body and ‘dogear’ P-90 single-coil pickups. Constructed with a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body, mahogany neck with traditional ‘C’-profile, rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays, the ES-390 also features  Kluson single ring tulip button tuners, die-cast alloy trapeze tailpiece and a MHS P-90 rhythm pickup and reverse polarity MNS P-90 lead pickup.

New features for 2015 include redesigned neck dimensions,’ f-hole’ emblem engraved truss rod cover, rolled neck binding, bone nut and lower profile frets. Available in Sixties Cherry. Includes a hardshell case.
