Gibson Memphis announces ES-339 at NAMM 2015


For players who want the sound but not the bulk, Gibson offers an upgraded version of this popular semi-acoustic at NAMM 2015. The new ES-339 offers a roll-call of 2015 features, including redesigned neck dimensions, Grover ‘Milk-bottle’ Rotomatic tuners,’ f-hole’ emblem engraved truss rod cover, bone nut, rolled neck binding, lower profile frets, new vintage colour finishes, Burstbucker 1 and 2 humbuckers, new capacitors and locking stop bar tailpiece.

Traditional features include a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body with centre block, traditional ‘C’-shaped mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays, mother-of-pearl Gibson logo, Kluson double ring tulip button tuners and a Tone Pro AVR-2 bridge. Available in Sunset Burst and Faded Cherry. Includes hardshell case.
