The popular ES-335 has been given a makeover at NAMM 2015 with several new models, the most notable being one with a figured maple top. Other new features include include redesigned neck dimensions, Grover ‘Milk-bottle’ Rotomatic tuners, ‘f-hole’ emblem engraved truss rod cover, bone nut, rolled neck binding, lower profile frets, new vintage colour finishes, Burstbucker 1 and 2 humbuckers, new capacitors and locking stop bar tailpiece.
Traditional features include a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body with lightweight centre block, historic ‘slim-taper ‘mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays, mother-of-pearl Gibson logo and Tone Pro AVR-2 bridge. Available in Cherry, Sunset Burst and Natural, the Gibson ES-335 includes a hardshell case.
