Electro-Harmonix launches Bass Soul Food Overdrive pedal at NAMM 2015

New from Electro-Harmonix at NAMM 2015, the Bass Soul Food pedal provides overdrive and clean boost to augment the original sound of your bass while retaining its fundamental character. The gain stage, treble control and signal path are optimized for bass guitar or guitarists who want to extend low end frequency response. An adjustable clean blend ensures an articulate tone while boosted power rails deliver extended headroom.

Other features include selectable true or buffered bypass modes and a switchable -10dB pad for active instruments. The Bass Soul Food runs on a 9V battery and ships with an EHX9.6DC-200 power supply.Electro Harmonix Bass Soul Food Bass Guitar Effects Pedal

About Author

MNJ has been writing articles, reviews and blogs for the DV online magazine for the last five years or so. Although he has been playing for longer than he cares to remember and is now officially an 'oldie', he is still mad for all things guitar related and when not busy in his studio he's learning new songs, practising bluegrass guitar, painting his house and taking his dogs out. If banished to a desert island and forced to take only one guitar he'd take a Les Paul. Actually, make that several Les Pauls, a Strat, a Tele, an ES-335, a vintage Martin and some boutique amps. Battery powered obviously.
