Point Blank Online Courses for Every New Ableton Customer

If you’ve been keeping an eye on the magazine for the past little while, you’ll already know that I’ve become an absolutely huge fan of Point Blank’s Online Courses for Ableton. There are articles here, here and here if you’d like to get a better idea of how it all works and what goes on during the four or eight week courses, but actually there’s a much easier way of trying everything out, because we’re running a brilliant freebie promotion this week for any new Ableton customers.

In conjunction with Focusrite and Point Blank, we’re able to offer anyone buying Ableton 8 (intro, live or suite editions) before the end of July not only a completely free training course, but the entire Focusrite Midnight Plug-in Suite and a further possibility of 10 per cent off taking extra Point Blank courses down the line.

The Focusrite Midnight Plug-In Suite is something we’ve not talked about on the mag before, so it’s worth taking a look here. The ISA110 and 130 equaliser and compressor both sound fantastic as plug-ins, and have a neat graphical representation on-screen too, so they’re easy to use. Look out for a review shortly, but at £79.99 it’s not a freebie to be sniffed at.

Here’s how the deals work – depending on which version of Ableton 8 you buy, you’ll get different bonuses:

Customers purchasing Ableton Intro will receive 10 Point Blank tutorial videos on mixing, structure and arrangement and a free Focusrite Midnight Plug In Suite.

Customers who purchase Ableton Live will receive 18 Point Blank tutorial videos on mixing, structure and arrangement and a free Focusrite Midnight Plug In Suite.

Customers Purchasing Ableton Suite will receive 18 Point Blank tutorial videos on mixing, structure and arrangement, a 10 per cent discount off of Point Blank courses and a free Focusrite Midnight Plug In Suite.

All you need to do is purchase one of the Ableton 8 products before or on July 31st, and then email your sales invoice number to abletonenhanced@digitalvillage.co.uk – we’ll get in touch and do the rest! If you have any questions about the courses themselves, why not drop me a line on robertsandall@dvmusic.com and I can talk you through my personal experiences of using the courses etc.

About Rob Sandall

Rob Sandall has written 507 post in this blog.

Having spent his life changing strings in guitar shops, writing and editing news and reviews of the latest music gear and gigging in admittedly-short-lived bands, Rob's particular passions lie with all things six-string and the bodger's world of home production. While he is perhaps not hugely rock and roll, his efforts as a biographer of those who are allow him to at least live a little vicariously through them, which is almost as good. Feel free to drop him a line for help, advice, or just to chat, but be warned: he does go on a bit.
