Komplete Drop!

komplete 5I blogged here back in April about an earlier 50% price drop on Native Instruments Battery 3. I aint no salesman folks but today’s news that the daddy of ‘em all, Komplete 5 getting a barking mad reduction is worthy of a post for sure. Within what must be the best software deal ever, Komplete 5 consists of:

  • KONTAKT 3 – Features an included 33 gigabytes of samples and loops, this is by far one of ‘the’ industry-standard (and extremely powerful) samplers, supported by many sound library developers
  • GUITAR RIG 3 Software Edition – As well as some monstrous amp/cab modeling capabilities, Guitar Rig’s fx can be used independently in your DAW taking this software into other sound shaping domains
  • MASSIVE – Sonic impact assured for searing leads and phat bass!
  • REAKTOR 5 – Granted, not the easiest synth to master, but this modular monster is one of the most programmable and flexible beasts available – dedicate the time to learn it, and you’re assured unique results light years away from everyone elses ‘preset land’ occupation
  • ABSYNTH 4 – Interested in vivid soundscapes and evolving audio textures, then this is your weapon of choice
  • BATTERY 3 – I’ve just upgraded from Battery 2 to 3.. It’s immense, wicked, awesome and everything else associated with being generally the best at what it can do. My ‘go to’ software percussion tool
  • AKOUSTIK PIANO – Transfusing the essence of the Steinway D, Bechstein D 280, Boesendorfer 290 Imperial and the Steingraeber 130 into your computer
  • ELEKTRIK PIANO – Reproducing in incredible detail the sounds of the vintage classics MK I and MK II, the Hohner Clavinet E7 and Wurlitzer’s A 200.
  • B4 II – The Mark 2 incarnation of 2000′s original classic B4 emulation.- Astoundingly flexible for use in a huge array of musical genres
  • FM8 – FM synth for those crystal-clear, razor-sharp digital synth sounds. Although reputably very fiddly and intricate to work with, FM synthesis itself has been simplified greatly here with FM8′s ‘easy edit’ feature. Also, it’s expandable with a wealth of recently available sounds
  • PRO-53 -A bonafide synth legend, faithfully reproduced – get that authentic 80′s retrotastic vibe on your tracks. I’ve had this for years and find myself constantly revisiting – love it!

This huge change in street price on Komplete 5 will no doubt attract speculation as to ‘why’ such a pricedrop, and ask maybe whether it’s the precursor to Komplete 6 (whatever ‘that’ may contain?!), but for now who cares.. If you have none or even a couple of the above individual instruments, it would be rude not to grab this crazy deal while you can.. right?
