Epiphone EU Award in the bag

DV Guitars EpiphoneI’m not a guitar player – there, I’ve said it – [never quite getting passed barre chords for some reason] I must however admit huge muso envy for those who can pick up this fine instrument and make it do what it can do. And at DV, there’s tons of the smug blighters ;-)

But credit where credit’s due, and in a shameless bit of back slapping,  I wanted to say congratulations to Paul Hughes and his DV Guitars team for bagging their ‘Epihone EU Dealer Award’. DV Guitar stores, from their birth in Barnet, North London, have now grown like wild fire hitting London South (Clapham), East (Romford), Birmingham, Bristol and Cambridge.

DV Guitars RomfordThe guys in these stores will be the first to tell you they have the best job in the world – talking, playing and selling Gibsons and Epiphones et al, day in, day out. In addition to the above glittering prize, Roy Brockington of the Romford store gets a special ‘dealer of the month’ award from Epiphone so major props go out to him too.

Question is though, is it too late to re-train my fingers to manage a barre chord again?
