Moyles ‘Mash-Up’ Delivered

comedy dave radio 1A straight 14 hour mixing session, mastering and labeling the CD up with ‘Bristol’ not ‘Swindon’ (well it was three in the morning!), followed by two hours of not too restful sleep.. Shower, and then a taxi to Hull station to catch the 7 a.m. train to London where I was to meet up with Chris Moyles right hand dude, Comedy Dave later that day. And what an enjoyable day it was..

Haven’t seen Dave since the mid 90′s (although we keep in touch reasonably often), it was fab to get a coffee and chat about life, the universe and everything :-) I stuck some headphones into the laptop and played him the full 3’45″ mash up. He loved it! It was to be delivered to Chris when Dave went in for Thursday morning’s show (today). So, cream crackered and with eyes like p***holes in the snow, big hugs were exchanged and I trotted off to a meeting with DV’s head honcho of all things digital. A bit of business banter and then it was into battle with the London rush hour crowd to catch the train back ‘oop north’.

My phone lit up this morning with text messages about some more Moyles Radio 1 action so I’m off now to the ‘listen again’ player to see what went down earlier ;-)
