British Music Experience at The O2 Bubble

At the O2 Bubble at the moment is an exhibition the likes of which you won’t see anywhere else in the world.
If you’re interested in the history of British music, right from the very beginnings in the trad jazz after the war, through skiffle, rock and roll, pop, rock, glam, punk, grunge, dance and everything that’s now, the British Music Experience is not to be missed. The memorablia from each period has been assembled at huge cost and expertly presented in sections behind glass where you can swipe your ticket and get an accurate on-screen story behind each exhibit.
There’s some mind-blowing stuff, original stage costumes, set lists, guitars, (half a Les Paul in The Who’s section!), and impossible to find vinyl singles and albums, all arranged in rooms dedicated to each period.
More interesting still is the interactive section where you can sit down with a Gibson or Epiphone guitar or bass and play along to an on-screen lesson or sing along to a backing track with a Sennheiser microphone, Gibson and Sennheiser being the current co-sponsors.
The preview section is good too, a panoramic montage of British concert footage with a deafening soundtrack, you feel like you’re actually in the audience at the O2!
The best bits for me? A private lesson with K T Tunstall, an original Dansette record player and a plastic Beatles guitar…ah the memories.
Wanna see this Looks very interesting and fun
